Run for Your Wife by Ray Cooney Directed by Ed Knights June 13-22, 2008
A superb example of the British farce
is this story of a taxi driver who gets away with having two wives in different
areas of London because of his irregular working schedule. Due to
his performing a good Samaritan act he is made a minor
celebrity causing complications as our hero tries to keep his
double life from being exposed. A screwball cast and
lightning-paced dialog make this 90 minutes of rollicking good
fun.
Anne
of Green Gables adapted by Sylvia Ashby
Directed by Laura Steele November

Green Gables is
the Prince Edward Island farm of lovable Matthew Cuthbert and his
stern sister, Marilla. They agree to adopt a boy to
help with the farm work. Imagine their consternation when Anne Shirley,
a girl in her teens, is sent by the orphanage by mistake! Anne touches
Matthew's heart with her charity and vivid imagination, but it takes
time to reach the tender heart beneath Marilla's hard exterior. L.M.
Montgomery's classic
has charmed young and old for generations.
