Makes it possible to present over 100 concerts each year, featuring
national artists and rising stars from
New England and across the U.S.
and Canada
* Helps present over 200 children's theatre and dance
classes, workshops and family concerts each
year introducing young people to the arts and developing creative
skills
* Sustains the TCAN Players, a thriving community theatre group presenting
three excellent productions each year with local cast and crew
* Enables us to present a regular series of classical music
concerts featuring outstanding artists from the area's finest universities and
chamber music institutions
* Provides open participation opportunities for local artists in
programs such as Rock Off Main Street, Folk
Open Mike, SpeakEasy and monthly Gallery
exhibits
* Allows us to assist other local nonprofit organizations by hosting
music recitals and fund raising events, recognizing volunteer service
and generating awareness for community causes
* Provides the assistance we need to keep arts events affordable for
the entire community
While TCAN receives tax relief as an authorized nonprofit organization,
we receive less than $1,000 each year from Federal and State grants
to underwrite programs and operations. Ticket sales cover only 60%
of our total operating budget, which includes a substantial debt that
remains from the $2.5M capital restoration of Natick's Central Firehouse
facility.
Gifts from individuals like you comprise the single largest source
of TCAN's contributed income. Because of the generosity of TCAN
members, we have continued to thrive and attract many of the finest
performing artists in the country.
