Make a difference by helping maintain the historic Firehouse and its ongoing operation!

Support building maintenance and repairs, maintain information and communication systems, help recruit and organize new volunteers, help maintain our database of TCAN volunteers, members and key contacts. Help support and maintain TCAN’s website. A group of volunteers even constructed TCAN’s cupola that crowns our Firehouse facility!

Volunteers are needed for these positions:

OFFICE SUPPORT
Helps the office staff with various administrative tasks. Prepare mailings, collate flyers, organize files and prepare documents.

WEBSITE MAINTENANCE
Make updates and changes to pages on TCAN’s website, periodically design new pages as required by program changes. Experiences website developer preferred with solid working understanding of HTML coding and .JPG image manipulation (Photoshop).

TCAN CLEAN TEAM
Help keep TCAN’s Firehouse facility neat and clean. Sweep, vacuum and dust concert hall, lobby, offices, common and bathrooms. Move trash to dumpster and organize recyclables for pick-up. This is very valuable to us and volunteers are appreciated!

FACILITY SET-UP
Move chairs and tables for special events such as the kid’s dance jam, event dance parties, membership mixer and more. Organize concession supplies. Assist with general repairs on as needed basis.
