Jonathan’s group “The Modern Lovers” released their debut recording in 1976, featuring drummer David Robinson (The Cars) and keyboardist Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads). Sometimes called “the godfather of punk” and “the best living songwriter of his generation,” Jonathan is a Refreshingly unique in a rock world that often takes itself far too seriously, Jonathan stands alone. tremendously charismatic stage presence, and maintains a dedicated worldwide cult following.
