| With "gripping intensity [and] suspenseful and virtuoso playing," (San Francisco Chronicle), ASQ is an award-winning ensemble with exceptional musical training. Winner of the 2011 Concert Artists Guild Victor Elmaleh Competiton, the ASQ will join the prestigious Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center Two program in 2013. ASQ recently debuted at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall and picked up top honors at the Plowman and Hugo Kauder competitions. The concert will begin with a prelude performed by Kacper Adach, classical guitar, performing works by Antonio Lauro; Jose Ferrer; Heitor Villa-Lobos; and João Guimaraes.
The Amphion String Quartet will perform the following: "Italian Serenade in G Major" by Hugo Wolf;
"String Quartet No. 2, Intimate Letters" by Leoš Janáček; "String Quartet in F Major, Op. 59, No. 1" by Ludwig van Beethoven. Special senior/student pricing. Young Masters Series sponsored by the Roy L. Komack Memorial Fund.
