The Top 100 Progressive Rock Artists lists Adrian Belew at least three times: as a solo artist, as King Crimson's guitarist and lead vocalist, and as guitarist with the Talking Heads. He was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Instrumental Performance for his single Beat Box Guitar, and in addition to his pet project The Bears, has toured with David Bowie and guested on a stunning list of groundbreaking albums ranging from Paul Simon's Graceland to Frank Zappas' controversial Sheik Yerbouti.
