What is the TCAN Annual Fund?
The
TCAN Annual Fund is our end-of-year annual campaign, supporting
our ongoing mission to provide children’s arts programs, classes, concerts,
community theatre and visual arts exhibits to the Metrowest community.
Why is the TCAN Annual Fund needed?
Less than 1% of TCAN’s operating
budget comes from government sources. Tickets and tuition cover only 60%
of the costs associated with our Firehouse arts facility, our small staff
and the daily expenses of maintaining this active and diverse arts center.
Private donations provide vital support and help us keep ticket prices affordable.
Why ask TCAN members and patrons to support
the TCAN Annual Fund?
Your memberships, ticket purchases and class tuitions
demonstrate your
high level of interest in the arts, and your commitment to TCAN. Membership
dues alone, however, are not enough to keep TCAN open and thriving each
year. Any additional support you can provide makes a big difference for
us.
