Education Programs: Developing Creativity
Through affordable and accessible education programs, TCAN fosters community expression and provides a place for people of all ages to cultivate their artistic talents. With successful partnerships with Pocket Full of Tales (now in its 13th year at TCAN) and Walnut Hill School, and other organizations, TCAN nurtures creativity and confidence in all students who take the stage. Classes are offered weekdays after school, weekends, vacation weeks, and during summer break.
Pocket Full of Tales
PFOT has offering theater education at TCAN for 13 years, with programming available for children ages 5-11 nearly 50 weeks of the year in afterschool, school vacation, and summer musical theater and advanced acting workshops.
Walnut Hill School for the Arts
Among several program collaborations with TCAN, Walnut Hill School for the Arts presents Theater Teen Theater Intensive, a process-based workshop for teens with the abiloty to focus on text and music analysis, acting, and/or vocal performance. Class includes one fully staged theater performance for families, and is offered in the Spring and Fall.
REGISTRATION FEES
All class registrations will be subject to a registration fee of $10 per class.
