As many of you may know, drummer Ted McKenna passed away on 19 January 2019 at the age of 68, of hemorrhage during a routine medical procedure. We were notified that the guitarist Davy Knowles and bassist Gerry McAvoy are committed to continuing the tour as Ted would have wanted. Gerry and Davy welcome Mike Hansen to Band of Friends. Mike is very kindly joining the band on drums for this tour. Mike has shared the stage with a fantastic roster of musicians, and will do both Rory and Ted proud.

Rory Gallagher’s music reached a massive worldwide audience and produced some of the greatest rock/blues albums of the 60s, 70s and 80s. Sadly Rory passed on June 14th 1995, the ultimate tragedy for his legion of fans.
