Kirk Fernald
Rainbow Painting

Both Cardemone of Natick and Fernald of Wellesley respond artistically to
the emotions evoked by their subjects.

"Arranging the composition into something that has vibrating color and skewered forms so that the painting has a life of its own is a stylistic goal of mine," says Cardemone, who diverges from realism in "my personal interpretation of the emotional mood these objects represent for me on any given day."Fernald echoes this approach, "When I paint, my feelings and attitude towards the subject become important to how I respond to it with paint..painting is a way to express myself and convey a sensibility through the use of color."

Gallery hours are Tues.-Sat. 12-6 PM. Directions to TCAN and performance information are available by calling 508-647-0097 or at www.natickarts.org. The art is in the same venue as the nightly performances, and can also be enjoyed while attending these events.
