From January 2nd through 31st, 2002, the music, dance, spoken word, and theater events at The Center for Arts in Natick (TCAN), will be performed around a display of art quilts entitled "Meditations".

The theme is "Meditations" in response to the state of our country and the world right now. The theme includes quilts that are thoughtful, meditative and calming.

The seventeen participating artists are: Nancy Halpern and Jeanne Williamson of Natick, Diane DeVido Tetreault of Wellesley, Pam Goody of Needham, Linda Levin of Wayland, Carol Anne Grotrian of Cambridge, Gladys A. Perkins of Brookline, Sandra Townsend Donabed of Newton, Mary Walter of Southborough, Beatriz Grayson of Winchester, Mary Gattis of Woburn, Sylvia Einstein and Susan McCraw of Belmont, Amy Grabel, Sarah Gindel and Ann Schroeder of Jamaica Plain, and Rosemary Hoffenberg of Wrentham.

These talented artists are professionally trained in the arts, exhibit nationally and internationally, and have been featured in numerous books and magazines.

Everyone is welcome at a Reception to meet the artists on Sunday, January 6, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.  Refreshments will be served.
