TCAN’s second annual celebration of youth art begins with Natick High and Middle Schools’ “Smorgasbord” from March 29th through April 9th. The reception will be Thursday, April 5th from 4:00 to 6:00. The public is invited to attend the reception and take the opportunity to meet the artists. Artwork done by students in Grades 7 – 12 will be displayed including pieces that were sent to the Globe Scholastic Art Exhibit.

The artworks in this exhibit exemplify the Natick Public Schools’ commitment to the foundation principles of art education. Drawings from observation, the basic elements ofdesign, and the communicative power of art are all present in this collection.

These teachers are presenting their students’ artwork in “Smorgasbord”.
