With The Portrait Study group got started a year ago in June, 1999. There was a small nucleus of portrait artists who were looking for a space to meet regularly and Michael invited them to meet at the Center. Since then, they have been meeting every Thursday. To fill the need for people who cannot come on a weekday, the group gathers on the second Saturday of each month.

The artists enjoy a great collection of models, but they are always looking for new faces. If you are interested in modeling, and would like to have fun seeing your face as interpreted by several different artists, and earn money, too, give the number below a call.

The group meets on Thursdays from 10am to 12 noon, except the second week of the month when they meet on Saturday. To book a place in the session, just call 653-4260 or come in and join them. The fee is nominal.
