A child encounters an old factory and hears the tale of the Lorax. The Lorax speaks for the trees and tries to protect the forest and nature around him. He and his friends the humming fish, the swammy swans and the barbaloots spend the story fighting a losing battle against the Once-ler character, whose greed causes him to strip the trees from the plentiful land around him and turn it into a factory. Unless, someone cares a whole awful lot, does something, nothing is going to get better it's not. Will the young child be able to save the day.
